Zaanse Schans at 9:30 (Windmills Village)
Your first stop will be in a quaint, typical 17th-century village with houses and a collection of beautifully preserved windmills from the country's industrial past. You may stroll through the lovely greenhouses and stop at the factory where the country's well-known clogs are made in the charming town of Zaanse Schans. Dutch cheese is the best! Visit the Catharina Hoeve Farm to sample some. Moreover, find out how renowned Dutch cheeses are made.
12:00 - Edam
Another name for Edam is "Pearl of the Zuiderzee." The strongest association between the term "Edam" and cheese is cheese. The renowned round Edam cheeses have been sent from this town to every corner of the world for generations. You are invited to take a stroll along the picturesque canals and old alleys, which will let you imagine yourself in a Dutch hamlet from long ago. the leaning Carillon tower (1561), the historical museum with the floating basement, the Dam, Edam's Townhall, and more are all in excellent condition.
Lunch in Volendam at 13:15 (food and drinks are not included in the price)
The promenade along the harbor is congested with small cafes and street-food sellers that highlight the high quality of regional cuisine. It is a popular promenade for foodies who love fish (seafood) and Dutch pastries.
Volendam at 14:00
Continue on your way to Volendam, where you could witness beautifully painted wooden structures and run across locals sporting vibrant regional costumes. Your tour guide will take you on a quick walk around the Volendam port, which has been a popular tourist destination in the community since 1875. This is a great place to pick up presents and mementos for loved ones back home, as well as to visit one of the village's many photo studios to have portraits taken in traditional Dutch garb.
Amsterdam Canal Cruise at 15:30
You will be invited to enjoy a canal sail across Amsterdam as part of the tour's concluding segment. The greatest way to see the essence of the Dutch capital is on an Amsterdam canal cruise. Go through expansive merchant houses, Gothic cathedrals, historical landmarks, and museums.
