Mini Europe Tour – 5 days

    Day 1 (Amsterdam – Volendam – Zaanse Schans).

    Today we will visit Amsterdam for an extensive excursion. We will see all Amsterdam has to offer, from the historical monuments in the city centre to the modern architecture of the 21st century. For example we will visit the Royal Palace, the National Monument, the Skinny Bridge, and the beautiful houses along the canals. A picture stop at a windmill at the river Amstel and at last but not least a visit to a diamond factory. We continue our excursion to visit the world-famous fishing villages of Volendam. On the way, we will stop at one of the very few cheese farms, where the cheese is still made in the traditional way. Then we move on to visit the windmill village ‘de Zaanse Schans’, with its characteristic green wooden houses. We will be visiting a wooden shoemaker (a clogmaker) here.

    Day 2 (Antwerp – Brussels).

    We start today with a drive through the Dutch country side to Antwerp, the Diamond Capital of the world. We will stay for about 2 hours in Antwerp where you will have a walking tour around the beautiful Central Station of Antwerp and visit to Diamond Land. Then we shall continue our tour Brussels, where the first stop is the amazing Atomium, the largest iron atom in the world and the symbol of Brussels. During a short bus tour you will see the tomb of the unknown soldier and the imposing Royal Palace of Brussels. In a guided walking tour you will see among other things the 16th century Market Square and off course “Manneken Pis”.

    Day 3 (Paris).

    After breakfast we leave Brussels for the city of Paris. You can participate in the extensive city tour for a closer acquaintance with the city of Paris. The Louvre, Notre Dame, Les Invalides, Place De La Concorde, Arch De Triomphe and the Champs Elysées. Not to forget that you are invited to take your pictures in the Eiffel tower.

    Day 4  (Paris).

    Today is the shopping day... Mode City Paris lends itself perfectly for a day of shopping. It offers chic and stylish department stores Au Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. In the afternoon we take you to the Latin Quarter, a lively student area with many typical French shops and restaurants, after that you will be invited to enjoy the view of Paris from the Seine River Cruise.

    Day 5 (Paris - Amsterdam).

    The last day in Paris. After breakfast we drive to Versailles, the palace of Louis XIV, known as the Sun King. Admire this magnificent palace and visit the beautiful gardens which are laid out in symmetry. In the afternoon we say goodbye to the city, then we start the return journey to the Netherlands.
