Europe Sensation Tour – 8 days

    Day 1 (Amsterdam – Volendam – Zaanse Schans).

    Today we will visit Amsterdam for an extensive excursion. We will see all Amsterdam has to offer, from the historical monuments in the city centre to the modern architecture of the 21st century. For example we will visit the Royal Palace, the National Monument, the Skinny Bridge, and the beautiful houses along the canals. A picture stop at a windmill at the river Amstel and at last but not least a visit to a diamond factory. We continue our excursion to visit the world-famous fishing villages of Volendam. On the way, we will stop at one of the very few cheese farms, where the cheese is still made in the traditional way. Then we move on to visit the windmill village ‘de Zaanse Schans’, with its characteristic green wooden houses. We will be visiting a wooden shoemaker (a clogmaker) here.

    Day 2 (Amsterdam – Brussels Paris).

    Today’s tour begins with a drive from Amsterdam to Brussels, where the first stop is the amazing Atomium, the largest iron atom in the world and the symbol of Brussels. When we arrive at the city, we’ll drive to the center to enjoy the view of the beautiful Grand Place, the central square of Brussels, and the famous statuette, the Manneken Pis. After leaving Brussels, we’ll drive to the splendid city of Paris, France.

    Day 3 (Paris).

    After breakfast, we’ll enjoy the many famous sights of historic Paris. You can participate in the extensive city tour for a closer acquaintance with the city of Paris. The Louvre, Notre Dame, Les Invalides, Place De La Concorde, Arch De Triomphe and the Champs Elysées. Not to forget that you are invited to take your pictures in the Eiffel tower.  A scenic cruise along the river Seine will show us many of the city’s most famous sights from the water, including Notre Dame Cathedral and Pont Alexandre III (optional).

    Day 4 (Paris - Milan).

    Today, we’ll drive from Paris to Milan, a prominent Italian city and fashion capital of the world, where we will arrive in the early evening and will spend the night.

    Day 5 (Milan - Lucerne).

    After breakfast we'll visit the renowned La Scala opera house, with europe's largest stage. The city's marble Duomo the world's largest Gothic cathedral. Then we’ll head to the glass-covered 19th-Century shopping plaza, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. After lunch (not included), we’ll continue our tour to the city of Lucerne to view the medieval scenery and architecture, walk across the wooden Kapell Bridge, and see the lovely Lake Lucerne. We’ll see the Lion Monument carved into the rock above the water and then enjoy some free time before proceeding to the hotel for a night’s rest.

    Day 6 (Lucerne - Mt. Titlis - Zurich).

    From Lucerne in the morning, we make our way toward Zurich, stopping at Engelberg to ride the world's first revolving cable car, which takes you to the top of Switzerland’s highest vantage point atop Mt. Titlis. The cable car will give you a 360 degree view of the country as you slowly crawl through the sky. After lunch on the mountain (not included), we’ll descend to the city of Zurich enjoy some free time to shop for Swiss watches and other specialties before proceeding to the hotel for the evening.

    Day 7 (Zurich - Titisee - Cologne).

    After breakfast, we’ll drive on to visit the Rhine Falls, the largest single waterfall in Europe. We’ll then continue with our tour, winding through a portion of the Black Forest. We’ll emerge at Titisee, a small town at the edge of Lake Titisee, where the cuckoo clock was first invented. We’ll then head to Cologne, Germany, where we should arrive in the evening.

    Day 8 (Cologne - Amsterdam).

    After breakfast, we’ll drive on to visit the Rhine Falls, the largest single waterfall in Europe. We’ll then continue with our tour, winding through a portion of the Black Forest.     • The package includes: transportation (luxury coach), driver, tour leader.

    The average price of a hotel room (3/4 star hotels): range between €50 - € 75 per night per person based on twin sharing incl. breakfast.
